Certificates to be carried for the verification are

  • 10th class pass certificate
  • Intermediate Marks memo
  • Transfer Certificate
  • 6th class to Intermediate study certificates
  • Income Certificate for Fee Reimbursement (only eligible candidates)
  • Caste Certificate (BC, SC, and ST candidates)
  • Reservation certificates (CAP, PH, Sports candidates)

30% of the total seats in a college are filled through management quota seats. Candidates who have not qualified in EAMCET are also eligible unless he/she scores 45% in intermediate (40% for reserved candidates). The candidates qualified in EAMCET are also eligible to register for these seats.

Once the seat has been allotted, the candidate has to carry a copy of his allotment order and challan form downloaded from the website to a nearby bank and pay the fee. The payment receipt has to be submitted to the college before the due date or else his/her seat shall be canceled.

Candidates eligible for fee reimbursement need not pay the fee. The same will be mentioned against seat allotment in the allotment order.

Candidates exempted from paying fees need not carry any bank challan. They need to submit their allotment order to the college.

Income certificate, Reservation certificate, and Salary certificates

There is no restriction that a candidate has to attend web counseling in his home district only. He/ She can attend anywhere in the state. There are around 50 Help Line Centers in the state for web counseling.

Students can exercise options from any place where the internet is available. If you have an internet facility in your home, you can exercise from home. The seat will be allotted 2 or 3 days after exercising options.

Students who join a college through the convener quota are only eligible for fee reimbursement. And the student parents’ income should be less than 1 lakh per annum.

5% of total seats are reserved for NRIs and these seats come under the management quota. The fee for those seats would be 5000 US Dollars for engineering and pharmacy courses and 6000 US Dollars for Pharm-D course.

It is mandatory for these students to verify their certificates in Hyderabad Jntu only.

Yes, if the candidate carries all your certificates and a doctor certificate declaring that you are ill. That would not be possible for special category students. It is mandatory for them to attend verification at Hyderabad or else, the seat would be canceled.

The majority of the students prefer ECE and followed by EEE, CSE, Mechanical and Civil engineering.

All nationalized banks in India are providing education loans to all the courses approved by AICTE and UGC. The application process has become easy and the banks are providing education loans up to a maximum amount of Rs 10 lakhs.

Students admitted through counseling have to pay fees and these receipts should be submitted to the bank while applying for a loan. Once verified, the bank will pay the number of individuals directly and from the proceeding academic years, the fee will be paid directly to the colleges. Students have to submit copies of academic certificates, residence proof, parents’ income certificate, and their 6 monthly bank account transaction statements.

The banks will issue a loan up to Rs 4 Lakhs without any assurance and from Rs 4 to 7.5 lakhs with underwriting from parents and for the amount more than Rs, 7 lakhs collateral security is required. Many banks are arranging helpline centers at the counseling centers to educate students regarding education loans.

A student can exercise a maximum of up to 3400 options. The student will be allotted a seat if there is a vacant seat in the ascending order of his preferred options. Therefore, a student has to opt first for the courses and college he is interested in.

No, you are not allowed to change the branch in the 2nd year of BTech under any circumstances.

Yes, you need to pay an additional fee of Rs 5500 as decided by Advanced Fee Regulatory Commission. University recognition fee, College development fee, deposit, etc. are included under this. No college is permitted to collect extra fees other than this. If you face such a situation, you can report to the Higher Education Council.

Yes, a student can join another college from starting of the second academic year. This college should be affiliated with the same university as that of his previous college. The transfer will be done based on the permissions from both the colleges and the technical education commissioner.

A Candidate shall be regarded as a local candidate in relation to a local area
(AU/OU/SVU)

  • if he/she has studied in an Educational Institution or Educational Institutions in such local area for a period of not less than four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination as the case may be
  • Where, during the whole or any part of the four consecutive academic years in which he/she appeared, or first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination, he/ she has not studied in any educational institutions, if he/she resided in that local area for a period of not less than four years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination in which he/she appeared, or first appeared, as the case may be.

The local area in respect of Andhra University (A.U. area) includes the Nagarjuna University area. In respect of Sri Venkateswara University (S.V.U. area), it includes the Sri Krishnadevaraya University area. In respect of Osmania University (O.U. area), it includes the Kakatiya University area.

85% of seats are reserved for local candidates and the remaining 15% for open merit candidates where local or non-local or reserved or general category students can compete for those seats.

Andhra University area: Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Krishna, West Godavari, East Godavari, Prakasam, Vishakhapatnam, Guntur regions

SV University area: Nellore, Chittoor, Kurnool, Anantapur, and YSR district regions

Osmania University area: Khammam, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Adilabad, Mahabubnagar, Nizamabad, Warangal, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medak district regions

Students have to use only state rank for web counseling. Local rank is in no way connected with web counseling.


 

There is no exception for University campuses and JNTU colleges regarding local and non-local status.

 

Depending on the JNTU Campus college location, they come from different regions. JNTU Kakinada and Vizianagaram colleges come under the AU region. JNTU Anantapur and Pulivendula colleges come under the SVU region and JNTU Hyderabad & Karimanager colleges are under the OU region.

85% seats are reserved for Local candidates in their respective regions and 15% for Open Merit candidates.

 

During this situation, a student will become a local to the region where he has studied a maximum number of years in a region from sixth – intermediate. As you have studied for a maximum number of years in Tirupati, you are a local of the SVU region.


 

All local and non-local candidates are eligible equally for 15% of seats.

 

There are 50% seats in open competition. 29% of seats are reserved for BC candidates among which 7% of seats are reserved for BC-A, 10% for BC-B, 1% for BC-C, 7% for BC-D, and 4 % for BC-E. 33.33% of seats are reserved for female candidates in all categories including open competition.

Universities that represent the whole state are called state-wide universities. Osmania, Andhra, and SV university region colleges come under non-state-wide institutions. 85% of seats for local and 15% for non-local candidates are reserved in non-state-wide institutions. In statewide institutions, 42% of seats are reserved for the Andhra region, 36% for Telangana, and 22% for the Rayalaseema region.

OC or OBC candidates need not submit any Certificate along with the Application. However, OBC candidates have to produce the Category Certificate and EWS (OC) students have to produce the EWS Certificate at the time of Counseling/Admission. The SC / ST category students have to submit a copy of the Caste Certificate along with the Filled-in Application on the day of the Entrance Examination.

Any category student Can Get Fee Reimbursement. If you live in rural areas your parental income must be below 1.5 lakh per year whereas for urban areas it is 2 lakh per year. Who satisfy These Two are eligible for fees reimbursement. The student needs to take EBC/EWS certificate from Mee Seva.

The amount of fee reimbursement you will get again depends upon these conditions.

1. If your eamcet rank is below 10000 - you will get full fee reimbursement( if your college fee is 1 lakh you will get 1 lakh, if the fee is 50k you will get 50k reimbursement)

2. If your eamcet rank is above 10000 - you will get a max reimbursement of 35k ( if your college fee is 20k u get reimbursement of 20k, if ur fee is 35k you will get 35k if the fee is 50k you will get the only 35k).

3. If you are a government college student irrespective of which caste you belong to you will get full fee reimbursement as in 1st case.

NOTE: in order to get the reimbursement you have to be either a government college student( any caste you may be) or you should have income proof as explained above.

OC Candidates can also get the EBC certificate if the income is less than what I mentioned above.

You will be informed to submit your documents if you are eligible for a fee reimbursement in any college during the counseling itself so. ……colleges don't have any role regarding fee reimbursement during admissions. of course in the later, you will have other processes to be done that the college will be informing you.

Yes, you do get full fee reimbursement if your eamcet rank is below 10000 provided by govt of Telangana as well as AP, (OC students need to have an income certificate). You will be eligible for reimbursement if you maintain enough attendance and are not on the detained list.

The meaning of reimbursement is to get back an amount of money that you’ve already paid. When you haven’t paid any amount I.e. you got your full concession, from where will you get reimbursement? No, you won’t get any reimbursement. You’re already studying for free.

  • If everything is fine with the application process, then you need not contact anyone for fee reimbursement. The admin staff in the engineering college itself runs the process.
  • If there is a problem with releasing of funds, nativity issues, caste issues, mistakes while application, etc…., then consult BC welfare office personnel at Masab tank or at Nampally exhibition ground(Hyderabad)

Yes, but you are rank must be less than 5000. But for a local guy in the sense, a guy who resides in Telangana can get fees reimbursement when his rank is less than 10000.

Yes but TS students get reimbursement in AP but not by AP Government you get fee reimbursement by the TS government you should apply on the TS pass website.

YES, the students of Andhra Pradesh who join engineering colleges in Telangana through ts eamcet counselling will get fee reimbursements according to their caste and family income status. The fee reimbursement is provided by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
